Tinlode, I can't find a link in the thread to the Swedish report you mentioned. Can you post please?
Thanks

Can anyone shed any light on ‘final approvals’
Seems as though a FO on HRZ will be a free carry well to prove up the current theory with an option to buy in depending on the result.
He ha, will be shattered if it does.
I think we're getting there Woz. Good Ann I thought.
I see ur buy order. Might not get filled @ .3c tho, ha ha. Or at least I hope it doesn't ??
Agreed LeM, let's hope for a tick up from here going forward till end of June. Just as a laugh my buy order of 20,000,000 is on!!
On the face of it electric cars sound good. In reality dealing with used batteries will become a major issue. Currently there is no way to economically recycle batteries. Old batteries would be extremely toxic in landfill. Marginally less bad than expended nuclear fuel rods. At least they won't be radioactive for hundreds or thousands of years.
Agree.
Swedish report indicates tonnes of carbon emitted during manufacture of battery alone.
Carbon generated during infrastructure build to generate additional electricity.
Carbon breakeven point miles and miles (years) down the road.
WAaussie, so many bruised punters, no surprise that reaction is subdued. Some anticipated the big deal on a silver platter, so will be unresponsive - BUT, it is a good indicator that the FO is near the finish line and many on the sidelines will start buying back or adding to their holdings over the next 2-3 weeks before this changes up a gear.
The tipsters will tickle the markets too, that should put more light on the subject.
Yes wonderful. No change in SP, although comes as no surprise. Continuing for the long haul. Another 4 years we will be OK. 3p in 2023 here we come.
Well I must say - a nice update bang on queue Mr Wall. Luvverly jubbly. Going for beauty sleep now. Wife’s bingo numbers failed!! WonderWall to the rescue. Will order a Tesla when oil nearly gone in 40 years. Good luck all.
23.15 - great news; by all accounts a lovely product. Slightly unclear about inevitable logistics: how was the electricity generated for the repeated recharges(?) How much energy is required to build the car - especially the battery, how much energy is required to decommision the battery, how much energy will be expended to renew the battery, how much energy will be expended in renewing the incrementally degenerating product, how much energy will be expended in conforming the product with new electroproduct legislation, how much energy will be needed in new infrastructure, how much energy will be needed to women/man that infrastructure, how much energy will be needed to regulate these structures.....?? Not even started yet - big issue. As ever, VGLA
I hear all sorts of stuff about Tesla, I’ve been driving it for over 2.5 years. Virtually nothing to run, never had to wait at a super charger. The nicest car I’ve ever driven
I see Elon thinks you'll all be falling over yourselves to send your Teslas out on road as Robotaxis next year 5laws. I'm pretty certain 88e will be the better investment over the next couple of years, Tesla is facing a lot of headwinds, certainly glad DW has his feet on the ground.
Get a Tesla!
If I ask nicely, would you kindly announce the most amazing farm out deal very very soon. Had to send my wife out to play Bingo tonight in the hope of rescuing our pension plans. Hope two fat ladies wins the jackpot.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Sir David... ooo thats got a ring to it don' t you think.... make our days , theres a fine feller.
Just guessing it wont be BP - they're going all green aren't they. ? Ha. I've got a hybrid lecky BMW. Pile of crap it is. A full charge gets me a whopping 15 mile on a hot day. Waste of space. Cars need oil/petrol. end of. for at least another 50 years IMHO. US politicians will make sure of that. - Just saying in case any Farmy Warmy bidder wants to try and cut the price of any bid/buyout, citing some dying comodity b***s**t.
Have a pint for me WA. Love getting pi88ed.
GLALTH and weary souls.
