KIEV, June 4 (Reuters) - Ukrainian foreign currency reserves grew for the
first time since late last year to $27.792 billion at the end of May from $24.495 billion at the end of April, central bank data showed on Thursday.

The central bank has been defending the hryvnia currency since September when it began to slide versus the dollar. The hryvnia stabilised in the past month, while the dollar's fall against to other currencies held by the central bank also made an impact. Keywords: UKRAINE RESERVES
