MILAN, Nov 27 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect
Italian markets on Friday.

ENI
Russian and French leaders are set to sign a memorandum of
understanding for the entry of France's EDF into the
South Stream gas pipeline project, Eni Chief Executive Paolo
Scaroni said on Thursday.
Scaroni said Eni has no debt problems.
TELECOM ITALIA
Telecom Italia shareholder Telco said its shareholders had
unanimously agreed, as an alternative to a planned demerger,
that Telco investor Sintonia should buy 2.06 percent of Telecom
Italia at 2.2 euros per share for 605 million euros and that
Telco should buy back in cash and cancel the Sintonia stake in
Telco.
Italy's telecoms regulator said it had cut Telecom Italia's
broadband tariff for wholesale clients to 8.0 euros a month from
8.5 with effect retroactively from Jan. 1, 2009.
BANCA MONTE DEI PASCHI
Rivals could crimp Barclays Plc's ambitions to
become a mid-tier lender in Italy by competing for a branch
network that the UK bank hopes to secure in a possible 540
million euro deal.
* GENERALI
The insurer has increased the overall amount of its bond
issuance programme to 7 billion euros, the weekly Il Mondo said
without citing sources. It has already used 4 billion euros of
this that has allowed it to refinance all its 2010 debt maturity
requirements, it said. The remaining 3 billion euros will be
earmarked for institutional and retail investors, Il Mondo said.
* BULGARI
Goldman Sachs raised its rating to 'buy' from 'neutral'.
* GEOX
Goldman Sachs upgraded its rating to 'neutral' from 'sell'.
PARMALAT
The company said subsidiary Parmalat Nicaragua sold 51
percent of loss-making Parmalat Centroamerica to Productos
Lacteos Centroamericano for $800,000. Parmalat Centroamerica
signed a license agreement allowing Parmalat Group to cash in a
total amount of $400,000 in the first 5 years of the contract.
SMALL AND MID CAPS
SAFILO
HAL Trust said on Thursday it has extended the
offer to purchase Safilo's senior notes until November 30.
MARIELLA BURANI FASHION GROUP
The company said its board has called an extraordinary
shareholders meeting on Dec. 16, adding it could call another
shareholders meeting by mid-January aimed at covering losses and
approving a possible capital increase. It said it also does not
exclude other solutions such as seeking special administration.
AS ROMA
Rome businessman
Giovanni Malago categorically denied on
Thursday he is trying to create a consortium to buy Rome soccer
club AS Roma. Also on Thursday Italpetroli, which controls the
club, denied a media report it has given a mandate to Mediobanca
to sell all of Italpetroli's assets.
