London Metal Exchange's head of sales MacGregor leaves position

Thu, 11th Jan 2018 14:24

LONDON, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Paul MacGregor, head of sales at the London Metal Exchange, left his position earlier this month and has not yet been replaced, an LME spokesperson said, declining to give any further detail.

MacGregor was hired in 2014 as part the exchange's quest to diversify the LME's customer base, away from producers and consumers towards financial players such as funds.

The LME declined to say how many people were left in its sales team.
