STOCKHOLM, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Sweden's unemployment rate, measured by the number of registered jobless, rose to 4.5 percent in January from 4 percent in December, the Swedish Public Employment Service (SPES) said on Wednesday.
SPES bases its measure on the number of job-seekers who register with the Swedish labour board. The Swedish Statistics Office (SCB) releases a separate measure of joblessness, which is based on a survey.
The SCB is scheduled to publish its January unemployment data on Feb. 19. Keywords: SWEDEN JOBS/
