Blinkx Responds To Plummeting Share Price

Thu, 30th Jan 2014 15:20

LONDON (Alliance News) - Blinkx PLC Thursday moved to explain the decline in its share price, as it said its third quarter trading was in line with its expectations.

The internet media company, which Thursday saw its share price plummet 34.1% to 118.60 pence, pointed to a recent blog post by "a consultant paid by unnamed third parties."

"Blinkx strongly refutes the assertions made and conclusions drawn in the blog post," the company said in a statement.

It said there has been no "material" change to its operational or financial performance or outlook for the business.
