Evraz Signs Deal With Metalloinvest For Supply Of Iron Ore, Pellets

LONDON (Alliance News) - Steelmaker Evraz PLC said on Monday it has signed an agreement with Russian-based Metalloinvest Management Company LLC for the supply of 3.4 million tonnes of iron ore and pellets.

Under the terms of the contract, Metalloinvest's mining division, Mikhailovsky GOK, will supply Evraz with 1.6 million tonnes of pellets and 1.8 million tonnes of iron ore before June 30, 2018.

No financial details of the contract were disclosed.

Shares in Evraz were up 4.9% at 260.60 pence on Monday.
