Mon, 12th Jun 2017 12:44

LONDON (Alliance News) - Kromek Group PLC noted Monday that its radiation detection technology was used by European Commission security teams during US President Donald Trump's recent visit to Brussels.

Kromek said its D3S-ID detector was used by security officials at different locations and the deployment was successful, having "met...high standards for accuracy and efficiency".

"We look forward to continuing our work with the European Commission, DARPA and other national law enforcement agencies to deploy our best-of-breed radiation detectors to protect people and property," said Chief Executive Arnab Basu.

Shares in Kromek were up 2.0% at 30.85 pence Monday.
